Florida State's roster is filled with a skilled crop of transfers and homegrown talent. After only having two players selected over the last two NFL Drafts, that number is expected to quadruple, or more, when April rolls around.

On Monday, redshirt senior cornerback Renardo Green and redshirt senior nickleback Jarrian Jones accepted invitations to participate in the 2024 East-West Shrine Bowl. The two Seminoles will have an opportunity to showcase their skills at the annual all-star event leading up to the NFL Combine.

Jones (90.5) and Green (84.3) graded out as Florida State's two best players on defense, according to PFF. Jones played in 12 games, finishing with a career-high 25 tackles, five tackles for loss, one sack, three pass deflections, three interceptions, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one defensive touchdown. Green started in all 13 games, recording 43 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, 13 pass deflections, and one interception.

Following the season, Green was named Second-Team All-ACC while Jones was regarded as an honorable mention. Both players were honored with Florida State's Most Improved Defensive Player Award last year.

Other players around the country who have accepted invitations to the Shrine Bowl include Kentucky quarterback Devin Leary, Louisville running back Jawhar Jordan, Florida offensive lineman Kingsley Eguakun, and LSU defensive tackle Jordan Jefferson.

As far as other all-star games, wide receiver Johnny Wilson, tight end Jaheim Bell, and defensive tackle Braden Fiske are scheduled to participate in the Senior Bowl.

This year will mark the 99th edition of the East-West Shrine Bowl. The game will take place at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas on February 1 and will be televised on the NFL Network.
