Recently the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association held an event to felicitate Ravichandran Ashwin . The Indian cricketer recently played 100 Tests and picked up 500 Test wickets, the 2nd Indian to do so.
In the event, many cricketers said a few words and some even sent videos. One of them was Ravindra Jadeja, who said a few words in Tamil. When Ravichandran Ashwin posted about the event, Jadeja wrote to his teammate what he thought about the video. The off-spinner claimed he couldn’t stop laughing.
A parody account of Janhvi Kapoor had replied to the tweet, to which Ashwin decided to have some fun. He replied and some fans tried explaining it was a parody account. The Indian star jokingly said he was heartbroken.
Omg . Is that so? I am

The parody account later tried explaining that it was not the real Janhvi Kapoor, but Ashwin was disappointed for the wrong reasons. He told the account there was no need to inform him that they were a parody account, and should’ve interacted like the real Janhvi Kapoor.
U shouldn’t say it, cos it says parody and the fun is to interact as if you are real.

Since 2013, India has failed to win any tournament organized by the International Cricket Council. It has won the occasional Asia Cup (2016, 2018 and 2023), but has not made an impact in any tournament. Ravichandran Ashwin acknowledged how India has struggled in those tournaments. He also noticed how many ICC tournaments started after the IPL.
We have been on a drought to win ICC trophies for years now and have consistently been knocked out in the semis or finals. And this is yet another year where the ICC T20 World Cup follows the IPL final by just five days, like in the recent past. Ashwin on Youtube
The 2024 IPL final will be held on 26th May, just five days between the start of the 2024 T20I World Cup. Along with that, the tournament will be held in the United States of America and West Indies, which could affect the players due to the traveling.
