Bryan Cranston asks for 'positive thoughts and prayers' for Bob Odenkirk after collapse

Bob Odenkirk collapsed while on the set of Better Call Saul and was rushed to a local hospital on Tuesday (July 27), according to TMZ and confirmed by Variety.

"Odenkirk is currently in production on the sixth and final season of Better Call Saul, a spin-off of the wildly popular series Breaking Bad," Variety's Ellise Shafer added. "Odenkirk collapsed on Tuesday at the show’s set in New Mexico and crew members immediately called an ambulance. Odenkirk is still receiving medical care, though the cause of the collapse has not been disclosed."

The incident was further confirmed by Odenkirk's Breaking Bad  co-star Bryan Cranston:

Odenkirk, 58, is a two-time Emmy winner and has received five Emmy nominations for his portrayal of Jimmy McGill in Better Call Saul, the prequel series for his Breaking Bad character Saul Goodman. Both series were created by Vince Gilligan.
